Glass RingsSpin on the beat
Upload a video of yourself. The app cuts you out, breaks the world behind you into glass rings and spins them on the beat of your track, while you stay sharp in front.
Your world spins on the beat
Film yourself with your track playing. The app cuts you out, turns the background into glass rings that spin on the beat in random patterns and lines everything up with the music. No editing skills needed.
A walking selfie works. Keep yourself near the middle of the frame, from the waist up or full body.
Let the track play while you film. The app hears it in your video and lines you up with the music on its own.
Light on you, no bright windows behind. The more you stand out, the cleaner the cutout.
Upload the track too. It’s what plays in the final video, at full quality.
Video
- Selfie or tripod. Walking with the phone in your hand works. Keep yourself near the middle of the frame.
- Play the track out loud while you film, so the app can line you up with the music.
- Lock exposure and focus (iPhone: hold your finger on the screen until AE/AF Lock shows).
- Stand out from the background with even light on you.
- No HDR: on iPhone, Settings, Camera, Formats, Most Compatible, and turn off HDR Video.

Use the Silhouette view to tune it: white is you, black is the background.

Export
Click or drag on the waveform to pick where the music starts (yellow line). The shaded part is what gets exported. Yellow lines are bars. Typed seconds are used exactly, without snapping.
To set it by hand, pause on the frame where you start (the first move) and press “Current frame”. That frame lands on the start of the music.
It takes a while: the app builds the video frame by frame. A 30-second video can take a couple of minutes. Keep the tab open.
In Premiere with the silhouette: V1 your video, V2 whatever goes behind, V3 your video again, V4 the silhouette. On V3 apply Track Matte Key, matte V4, Composite using Luma. Turn off V4’s eye.
In After Effects: put the silhouette above a copy of your video and on the copy pick Track Matte, Luma Matte. Anything below sits behind you.
